Every summer, Molyvos, one of the most beautiful settlements in Lesvos, becomes the center of classical music. The 5th Molyvos International Music Festival welcomes 27 world-class soloists who will join musical ensembles and explore the concepts of thesis and antithesis according to the festival’s theme titled “Dia-logos”. Compositions by Vitali, Rebel, Jenkins, Xenakis, Brahms, Dvorak, Mozart, Poulenc, Souk, Orlowski, Golijov and Haydn will be heard all around the Byzantine Castle, but also beaches, the alleys and the port. (From 08 to 19/08, +30 22530 71264, www.molyvosfestival.com).
